Travelin Lite
Im travelin’ lite
So I can take a bite
So I can get in a fite
So I can feel my mite
I’ve had stuff on my back
Been on another track
Been takin’ big flack
From big bunches of hack
Now Im feelin free
Maybe to be more of me
What that is remains to be seen
Could be that it is just what I’ve been
But the coast is clear
There’s nobody near
Who says they’re dear
But wont lend an ear
And wont come by
To witness the tears
And talk of past years
Or make some soup
And talk about poop
Or skip de doop...
It’s another day
And Im makin my way
With other folks now
Who seem to know how
To come on the scene
They know where I’ve been
Their senses are keen
Their senses are real
Together we heal
Together we laugh
Together we cry
We don’t know where and we
Don’t know why
But our eyes are wet and our
Eyes are now sometimes dry
We talk of the past
But we don’t understand
Life comes and life goes
It is all just the same
A part of a very very
Big complex board game
You take what you get,
You roll the big dice
You hope it comes out
So neat and so nice..
Sometimes it does
And sometimes not
Sometimes you have and
Sometimes very much not
But the deal is you are here
And sometimes its good
And sometimes its bad
And sometimes you fly
And sometimes you cry
And sometimes you sigh
And in the end we all .....
Fly? Die?? Sigh?? Cry??
Laugh? Jump?? Soar??
Dance? ?
The point is moot..
And so I put on my boot
And go for a walk..to
Look at a tree and see/hear the bee
Smell the bright flower...see the scene
Feel the wind and all the while
Know that this is where I smile...
